PARADIGMA JEMEZ: BALL POSSESSION TRAINING ON 6 VS 6 IN THREE ZONES
Proposal by spanish coach Paco Jemez ex of Granada and Rayo Vallecano. Actually he is coach of the mexican team of Cruz Azul.
Technical goals:
Attacking phase: Improve control and pass of the ball.
Defensive phase: Improve tackle and ball recovery.
Tactical goals:
Attacking phase: Improve ball possession, exit from opponent pressure, create numerical superiority in active zone, create passing lines and fast play.
Defensive phase: Pressing and closing passing lines.
Physical goals: Improve stamina, training on aerobic lactic skills.
Psicological goals: Development of effort skills and of decision-making in small sided.
Cognitive density is very high.
Players: 12.
Material: Balls, cones, mobile goals and coloured jerseys.
Time of training: 10 minutes.
Execution: 6 vs 6 Play on three zones: start, building and scoring. We’ll have 2 vs 2 in every zone (defenders vs forwards, midfielders vs midfielders, forwards vs defenders).
